Ghana forward Yaw Yeboah scores for Wisla in derby win against Cracovia in Polish top-flight league

Ghana forward Yaw Yeboah scored the only goal of the game to help Wisla win the bragging rights in the derby against Cracovia in the Polish top-flight league on Sunday.

The 24-year old scored  in the 52nd minute to hand Wisla a home win against their city rivals in this round 14 fixture.

‘Great atmosphere yesterday from our fans during the game. Happy to score to help the team win, thanks for the Wislakrakow fans for their great support and Cracow is ours’, the Ghana international said in a post after the game.

The 24-year-old has made 14 appearances in the ongoing campaign and has scored four goals.

The win also puts Wisla 13th on the league table with 17 points.

Meanwhile, Yaw Yeboah missed Ghana’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa.

The midfielder will be hoping to work hard to make Milovan Rajevac’s squad for the Africa Cup of Cup of Nations tournament next year.
