FROM NIMA TO GRAMMY- GAMPINNY ON THE MOVE

Accolades don’t make an artiste. Quality output does.

Versatile super talented hardworking musician, are great accolades, that the quality of Gampinny’s musical output merits.

As a young artiste coming out of Mamobi-Nima, he has blended his abilities as a good songwriter and singer, with a versatility that makes him share his experiences as a real ghetto youth on a mission to reform himself and others alike.

Already with a fan base mainly in Accra, Gampinny has a number of songs that are making the waves locally. “Get the vibe get the feeling, this is my Nima story,” as he says in arguably his biggest hit ‘Nima Story’, the prodigy projects the tough experiences of life in the streets of Mamobi and Nima.

His latest hit ‘Healing’ chronicles his own journey from a nearly fatal motor accident which had him down for a long time.
Gampinny says his recovery was miraculous, and there is no doubt judging from both the mental and physical scars it left him with.

He has dealt with both gracefully though, soldiering on to higher heights in pursuit of his dreams as a beaming light out of the Zongo community.

Currently working on releasing a video for ‘Healing’, Gampinny anticipates a massive end to the year having already performed to audiences with some top DJs in Ghana.

Till date his Extended play record (EP) Nima Story is making waves and is available with his singles like Giwa (elephant), MrSimpson, Vibes on Life on Audiomack and other platforms.
